FAQ’s

  • Each session is a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We’ll work collaboratively, focusing on what feels most important to you. Whether we’re looking at current challenges, long-standing patterns, or exploring ways to connect more deeply with your values and goals, my aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

  • Sessions typically last 60 minutes. Longer/ intensive sessions can be arranged if we think this would be helpful. These will be charged pro rata. We can discuss what feels most supportive for you.

  • Everyone’s journey is different. Some people find a few sessions helpful for a specific issue, while others choose to work together over a longer period for deeper exploration and change. We’ll regularly review together to ensure the work is aligned with your needs and goals.

  • I see symptoms and distress as meaningful — as the body’s way of communicating that something needs attention. My approach is holistic, looking at the interconnectedness of body, mind, and environment. I work in a collaborative, empowering way, helping you reconnect with your own inner wisdom, align with your values, and create lasting change.

  • Distressing symptoms and a desire to explore past relationship and patterns are often what bring people to therapy. The focus of the work is often about emotional healing, symptom relief and personal insight and reflection. Coaching tends to be more present and future-oriented, and is usually related to specific goals or changes somebody wants to make. There is also the option to blend therapy and coaching in our work.

  • What you share in sessions is confidential. There are a few legal exceptions (for example, if there is serious risk of harm to yourself or others), where I may have a duty to share information beyond our work together. I would always aim to discuss any concerns with you wherever possible.

  • Most people choose to meet weekly at the same time each week, but we can tailor the frequency depending on your needs and what feels most manageable for you.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are usually charged at the full session rate.

  • I work outdoors throughout the year, and aim to embrace the seasons. In the event of weather warnings (e.g. high wind, thunder and lightning) we will move our sessions to online via zoom. I will send more detailed information about outdoor working on commencement of outdoor therapy.

  • QB is an emerging field, combining principles from biology and quantum physics, and demonstrating that our bodies are quantum in nature. it places critical importance on light, water and magnetism, our circadian rhythms and our relationship to nature for human health.

  • Metabolic health refers to the chemical processes occurring in our body, and is achieved when these are in balance and working as needed. It is now believed that most chronic diseases are metabolic in nature, primarily driven by our modern lifestyles, including diet and disconnection from nature. Supporting your metabolic health is crucial for health and longevity.
